Harbor Me

Harbor Me

by Jacqueline Woodson

2020

Six students, each carrying burdens too heavy for young shoulders, find an unexpected sanctuary in a room dedicated solely to conversation. In this safe space, free from adult judgment, they begin to share their deepest fears and anxieties, from family separations and racial injustice to the anxieties of a changing world. Through their shared stories and growing understanding, these children discover the profound strength and courage that comes from truly being heard and connecting with others.
